At the small village of Aysgarth, in Wensleydale at the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, the river Ure tumbles down over the dramatic Aysgarth Falls. The falls stretch for nearly one mile and have three drops in total, with the most dramatic being the lower falls. The falls are a popular tourist attraction in the area.
