One of the purposes of MCMAP is to teach the recruits basic offensive and defensive techniques, which gives them the opportunity to master the moves in preparation for the MCMAP test later in training. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Mike Company is scheduled to graduate July 21.
