[ Twenty-Nine ] Our Y e s t e rdays B H S Class History In the fall cf 1920 thirty-seven curious Freshmen made their first ap-pearance in the assembly hall of the Berne High School. Each one waseager to learn the whys, wherefores, and regulations of the school. Wesoon had these learned and our next ambition was to study this greatworld and its inhabitants. Shortly after school began one of our members, Miss Mildred Martz,moved away. Later, however, Tillman Bixler entered our school and againmade our class to number the same as before. Then after about three weeksof school Oarlton Steiner joined our class. Our first party this year was the initiation party which was held atLehmans Grove. At this time each one officially became a memiber of theB. H. S. The next one was held in honor of our basket-ball bo^^s givenby the girls at the home cf a Junior, Miss Nora Biagley. Then on April 15the Domestic Science girls prepiared a dainty lunch for the entire class andwe all went to Lehmans Grove
