Content warning - partially clothed infants playing London England - 2005; Somerset House is a grand Neoclassical complex located on the south side of the Strand in central London, overlooking the River Thames, just east of Waterloo Bridge. It has served a wide range of official functions in it long history, including 130 years as the UK's official register of births, deaths and marriages . This is its fine Georgian quadrangle. All pretty staid and formal, but the funky new fountains certainly brighten things up!
