Gaziantep, Turkey. 13 October 2021. An exhibition of photos and drawings of Syrian women detained in Syrian prisons remains open to the public for a week in the Turkish southern city of Gaziantep. The event also included audio content by friends of some of these female prisoners. According to the organisers some of the women portrayed in the exhibition have disappeared while in prison. The event, which highlights the hardships faced by Syrian women held in government’s jails, was attended by a number of guests and political activists from Syria
