Silvia Vicker and Michael Lhombreand residents in Walkerburn in the Tweed Valley in the Scottish Borders about their recently launched campaign to force Rathburn Chemicals - known as ‘the bomb factory’ - to move to another location following an explosion earlier this month. The village was put on lockdown and specialists were brought in to deal with the hazardous materials following the incident. Two people were taken to hospital and the A72 was closed. The factory, which manufactures pharmaceuticals is located next to a primary school and among residential housing.
