Blenheim Mark IVFs of No. 254 Squadron RAF, flying in formation over Northern Ireland shortly after the unit’s arrival at Aldergrove, County Antrim. The Bristol Blenheim was a British light bomber aircraft used extensively in the first two years of the Second World War. In addition to operating as medium bombers, some were converted into heavy fighters by the addition of four Browning .303 machine guns mounted under the fuselage.
