The public have their first opportunity to get ‘up close and personal’ with Scotland’s new cultural landmark, The Kelpies, Tours of the £5 million sculptures in Falkirk have started. The Kelpies are the centrepiece of the £43 million Helix land transformation project in the area. The two horse heads are located either side of a specially constructed canal lock and basin which is called The Kelpies Hub, which will open in the of Spring 2014.
