It is the alphabet ofall religion, and spells every possible experience. His sermons abound in metaphor, and are always interesting,practical, useful, and often truly eloquent. He is rather belowthe medium height, and stouter than the portrait would indi-cate ; of blue eyes and light complexion. Mr. Breckinridge was married, in June, 1863, to Miss MaryAdeline Ashley, daughter of the Hon. R. T Ashley, of Sus-quehanna County, Pa.
