Home Farm, Dowdeswell, United Kingdom. Architect: De Matos Ryan, 2012. Living room in new extension at twilight.

Home Farm is a Grade II listed house located in the Cotswolds outside Cheltenham. It forms part of a picturesque grouping of listed buildings including a Tithe Barn, neighbouring Church (Grade I) and the Eight gabled House. A main house and two out buildings constitute Home Farm. The main house has a lower main volume which dates from the C16th with a C17th taller volume built to infill the gap between the house and the very high retaining wall to the church yard. Home Farm is a reasonably modest house, comprising of two main living rooms on the ground floor, a master bedroom on the first floor of the C17th infill section of the house, 2 further bedrooms on the first floor of the older C16th section of the house and a 3rd bedroom in the loft of the C17th section. Internally the house was restructured, refurbished and extended with a new converted loft space to provide an additional bedroom and bathroom and landscape quality of the site.
