Piazza del Vescovado, Ravello and cathedral.

The cathedral stands in the main square of Ravello, the Piazza del Vescovado. Originally built in the latter half of the 11th century by Bishop Papirio, the cathedral is dedicated to St Pantaleone and houses reliquaries of his blood. Substantially altered in the 18th century the building has lost some of its original character although the underlying structure remains intact.
