Fruit, medium size, roundish ;skin, light green, striped andshaded with two shades of red,often nearly covered with deepred ; stalk, slender, half an inchlong, in a small deep cavity ; calyx,small, segmen s often recurved, setin a shallow, slightly plaited Fameuse. Flesh, snow white ; texture,tender, very fine grained, breaking,juicy, aromatic. Quality, dessert, first-class ;cooking, poor. Value, first-class for all markets,when perfect in form and free fromspots. Season, October to December Adaptation. General in On-tario.
