Upon which newes the King andDuke of York have been belowx since four oclock inthe morning, to command the sinking of ships atBarking-Creeke, and other places, to stop their comingup higher : which put me into such a fear, that I pres-ently resolved of my fathers and wifes going into thecountry; and, at two hours warning, they did go bythe coach this day, with about 1,300/. in gold in theirnight-bag.
