Guy Manning Kerr, No. 162 (James H.^, ElizaJ.*, James^, Elizabeth^, John^), was born at Jackson,Cape Girardeau County, Mo., May 20, five years of age, the family moved toColorado Springs, Colo., where they resided forabout eighteen years. His early education wasreceived at Cutler Academy and Colorado nineteen years of age he went to Mexico, asassayer in a silver lixiviation works, at San Juande Guadalupe Duranga, where he remained somethirteen months.
