Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Luis Arana fires the Carl Gustav rocket system during live fire training at Range 7 aboard Camp Hansen, Oct. 25, 2017. The Carl Gustav rocket system is being introduced to the Marine Corps to eventually replace the MK153 Shoulder-Launched Multipurpose Assault Weapon (SMAW). Arana, a Ukiah, Oregon native, is an assaultman assigned to Bravo Company, 1st Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment.
