Masai livestock. Masai herd of fat-tailed sheep, goats and cattle. The Masai are a nomadic people from Kenya, moving from place to place to find water and grazing for their livestock. The cattle are a breed of humped cattle or zebu (Bos primigenius indicus), and provide food in the form of milk, blood and meat. Fat-tailed sheep, a breed of domestic sheep (Ovis aries) have large hindquarters with fat reserves sometimes used in cooking. The domestic goat (Capra aegagrus hircus) is a domesticated subspecies of the wild goat. Photographed in Amboseli National Park, Kenya.
