Duchess Sophie von Hohenberg (1868 - 1914), a seal of the wife of Archduke Franz Ferdinand Lead crystal with gold-plated brass mountings. Four-sided pyramidal pommel. The surface of the seal bears the monogram "SH" beneath the ducal coronet. The mountings have minor repairs and damage. Height 76 mm. There is an attached provenance card with a seal from Princess Alfons of Bavaria with the typed notation "Seal from the personal possessions of Duchess Sophie " on the back.
