The town and grasslands of Sershu Dzong, Sichuan, China, dramatically illuminated against a background of dark storm clouds. In the foreground can be seen nomadic herders' tents and their yaks. Sershu (or Serxu) is a small town high in the hills of Sichuan, close to Tibet. The town is dominated by a large Buddhist monastery (gompa) and is home to many nomadic yak herders during the summer months.
