Motorbike Granny Stephanie Jeavons, and the crew of Spirit of Sydney - her bike was lowered off the yacht and in to this small Zodiac to get her ashore in Paradise Harbour, Antarctica. MEET the female biker who has become the first Brit to ride the Antarctic and could be the world’s most well-travelled GRANDMA. One year since beginning her journey, this intrepid lady has clocked up 30,000-miles as part of her-quest to become the first Brit to travel all seven continents of the planet, all on a budget of just £15 per day. After braving three strikes by icebergs, former motorbike school owner Stephanie Jeavons (40) from Colwyn Bay, Wales became the first Briton to ever reach Antarctica with a motorcycle on Valentine’s Day this year. Now travelling through the deserts of Chile in South America, once she reaches her current destination, Alaska, she will be the first person to ever to ride from Antarctica to this most northern state of the USA.
