YOKOSUKA, Japan (June 26, 2018) – Electronics Technician 3rd Class Matthew A. Ford addresses the audience at a Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender (LGBT) Pride Month ceremony onboard Fleet Activities (FLEACT) Yokosuka. Including Ford, three guest speakers shared their personal experiences as members of the LGBT community and the importance of equality. FLEACT provides, maintains, and operates base facilities and services in support of 7th Fleet's forward-deployed naval forces, 71 tenant commands, and 27,000 military and civilian personnel.
