The grave of Eleanor Rigby in St Peter's Church cemetery, Woolton, Liverpool, UK.
"Eleanor Rigby" is a song by the Beatles, released on the 1966 album Revolver and as a 45 rpm single. It was written by Paul McCartney, and credited to Lennon–McCartney. Although the song was not written with this Eleanor Rigby in mind, Paul McCartney has conceded he may have been subconsciously influenced by the name on the gravestone having been there in 1957.
