In April a litter of the extraordinary number of eleven cubs was found on the Alveston Hill estate, the j)roperty of J. Hirom, Esq. Neither the vixen nor the dog fox were ever seen near the earth, and the young foxes were fed by Mr. Hirom's keepers until they were old enough to take care of themselves.
