Facade of Lope de Vega theater in the city of Valladolid, Castilla y leon, Spain, Europe


It was built by architect Jeronimo de Gandara, the same who made the Teatro Calderón, and opened on December 6, 1861, with the play "The award of good talk" of Lope de Vega. The facade is classical style, consists of three bodies of three arches and is topped by a pediment, which is the image of the playwright made in Talavera tiles Fue construido por el arquitecto Jerónimo de Gándara, el mismo que realizó el Teatro Calderón, e inaugurado el 6 de Diciembre de 1861, con la obra "El premio del buen hablar" de Lope de Vega. La fachada, de estilo clásico, consta de tres cuerpos de tres arquerías y está rematada por un frontón, en el que se encuentra la imagen del dramaturgo realizada en azulejos de Talavera
