Great difficulties in landing result from hitting the grourtd withthe aeroplane still going too fast and consequently bouncing into the airagain. Or, on the other hand, leveling up at slow speed too high, andpancaking down with no speed. NOSE SPINNING Nose spinning, which has often been considered most dangerous, issafe enough if at a great enough height, and is decidedly the quickestway of losing height, without gaining too much speed. It requires verygreat skill, but there is much needless confusion between nose spinninga
