Festivities really got under way about 10:00 oclock with the start-ing of the all-University parade, which was participated in by thealumni, members of the University staff, the Band, and undergradu-ates. Immediately following the pep-session on Stuart Field, everybodyadjourned to the Armory where ample opportunity was offered forrenewing old friendships and the making of new ones. Alter the game there was the usual jollification paradewhich included a hot time in the old town and a free show at theMars Theatre later in the evening. Neither must one overlook the re-ception given in Memorial Gymnasium in honor of the visitors. Thisevent, which was held under the auspices of the Purdue Union,proved one hundred per cent successful.
