Festivities really got under way about 10:00 oclock with the start-ing of the all-University parade, which was participated in by thealumni, members of the University staff, the Band, and undergradu-ates. Alter the game there was the usual jollification paradewhich included a hot time in the old town and a free show at theMars Theatre later in the evening. Neither must one overlook the re-ception given in Memorial Gymnasium in honor of the visitors. Thisevent, which was held under the auspices of the Purdue Union,proved one hundred per cent successful.
