Protesters call for Bristol's elected mayor, Martin Rees to suspend planned cuts and for him to get a better deal with central government which they claim was achieved by Surrey's Tory council. Around 175 protesters gathered outside Bristol's City Hall before marching through the city centre. Bristol City Council, under the Labour mayor, are planning to make 123 cuts to local services to save £101million over five years. Bristol, UK. 18th February 2017.
