Waverley train station and clocktower in Edinburgh. This is the Balmoral Hotel with sight-seeing buses next to and trains below.

The Waverley Train Station (and the bridge right next to it) are located right in the heart of the city of Edinburgh. The station is at a lower level than the road, and is fairly large, catering to all the tourists who arrive in the city from London and other locations in the train stations in many other cities and countries, the train station here is surrounded by greenery, and make a nice picture overall. Right next to the train station is a bridge which is a starting point for all the tourist tours of the city in the brightly colored buses that you can see. In the background is the Balmoral Hotel. This was originally called the North British Hotel, constructed in the year 1902. After many years of operation, the hotel was sold to the Forte Group in 1983 by British Rail, and was then closed in 1988 for an year for restoration and re-modeling, and was then re-opened as the Balmoral Hotel. The hotel enjoys a strategic location in central Edinburgh.
