A Cal Fire S-2T Airtanker conducts an aerial fire retardant drop to assist in the containment of the Intanko Fire on Beale Air Force Base, California, June 8, 2021. Local first responders, to include Cal Fire, Linda Fire and Yuba County Sheriffs, assisted the Beale Fire Department with evacuating procedures and containing the spread of the Intanko Fire on the installation. The location and spread of the fire on the installation caused an immediate evacuation of base housing.
