Mount McKinley. Aerial view of Mount McKinley of the Alaska mountain range against a clear blue sky. At 6194 metres it is the highest mountain in North America. The mountain is known to native Americans as 'Denali' (the high one). The mountain was named after the American president William McKinley in 1896.
