Reed Boat, Uros Islands, Lake Titicaca


The Uros Islanders are a pre-Incan people who iive on floating islands in Lake Titicaca. They use bundles of dried totora reeds to make reed boats and to make the islands themselves. The islands are just 5 kilometres from Puno in Peru.
