Seattle, Washington: Cyrene mixed-use development under construction next to Enwave's steam plant will be completed in fall of 2016. The development will get steam heat directly from the utility, with leftover heat going directly back to the plant. Formerly Seattle Steam Company, Enwave Seattle provides heat to Seattle's Central Business District and First Hill neighborhoods. The energy is distributed by the utility through a network of pipes under approximately one-square mile of downtown Seattle.
