Now,Perthius and Allens Mill (the two next stations) show distinct signs of set-tlement, andvSt. Ra}niondis a town of2,000 inlicibi-t ants, withseveral town ischarm ing 1 3^situated onthe River , withlofty tree-cladhills s u r-rounding it onall sides, andis the centreof a splendid A troitl spot on the Basticaii COUntrv for hunting. Good guides can be obtained in the town. A few miles awaylies the club house of the Tourilli Fish and Game Club, which has amembership of sixty, composed of prominent Canadians and Americans.
