A screen doorcloses the opening when the baggage door is open, and when thedoor is closed the screen acts as a protection to the woodwork ofthe side of the compartment. The vestibule is guarded on eitherside by high folding gates. The length of the car body is 46 ft. 1 in., and over bumpers, 47 fto in.; width over sills, including sheathing, 8 ft. 8 in. All agents, dispatchers, trainmen, warehouse employes and track-men report to the superintendent and form a part of the operatingdepartment. The car house employes and linemen report to theelectrical engineer.
