Herdecke, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany - RWE pumped storage power plant Herdecke at the Hengsteysee. Lake Hengstey, completed in 1929 and operated by the Ruhrverband, is a reservoir in the course of the Ruhr between the cities of Hagen, Dortmund and Herdecke in the Ruhr region. It is one of the six Ruhr reservoirs and named after the adjacent Hagen district Hengstey.
