The Eglise St Pierre & St Protais (The church of Saint-Pierre or St Peter) in Soissons, Aisne, France.
The church of Saint-Pierre is one of the bastions of the former abbey of Notre-Dame against which it was built. People say that it was the place of worship reserved for men in an abbey that was mainly made up of women. This small church serves now as a mausoleum for the victims of the deportations during the second world war and contains within it a funeral urn that holds ashes removed from Auschwitz.
