The Maine State Fair reported two cows as entitledto first and second, but did not send the full result ofthe test, and you Secretary declined to accept the resultof the test without full particulars, and was then in-formed that the judge in the ring simply entered firstand second against the names of tw^o cows without anytest being made. At the Vermont State Fair there were thirteen cowsentered, eight by C. M. Winslow, four by E- S. Drew,one by Dr. C. C. Doe. The test was made by the State Experiment Sta-tion as follow^s :.
