Flint spark lighter
A flint spark lighter is used for ignition of gases. When its handle is squeezed a small piece ferrocerium is rubbed against a rough steel surface, producing sparks as a result. Ferrocerium is an alloy composed of cerium, lanthanum, praseodymium, neodymium, iron and magnesium.
