Angel Monument, Philips Park Graveyard #04
An angel headstone in Phillips Park Municipal Cemetery in Manchester. Opened in 1866, this was Manchester's first municipal public cemetery and was divided into separate areas for different denominations - Church of England, Dissenters, or non-conformists, Roman Catholics and Jews. The image was shot in infrared using a converted Nikon D50 using a custom white balance and has been altered to slightly desaturate and diffuse the image and increase digital grain.
