Statue dedicated to poet Manuel saltillense Acula, carved in Carrara marble in 1900 by artist hodrocálido Jesus F (ructuoso) Contreras. He exhibited at the Mexican pavilion at the Universal Exhibition of Paris in 1900, along with the famous piece "Malgre-Tout", where the author earned the band of the Legion of Honor. Remained since then in the courtyard of the Academy of San Carlos in Mexico City. He arrived in Saltillo in 1917.
