Heil, to whom our subjectwas united in marriage in 1870, was the daugh-ter of Frederick and Margaret Heil, and departedthis life February 17, 1891. The seven childrenof whom she became the mother were, respect-ively: Charles E., engaged in railroading; Au-gusta, deceased; Arthur, living at Peekskill; Ce-lia, Elmer, Cora and Irvington, at home. was afterward married to Miss Edith , and to them has been granted a son,James C.
