European Beaver (Castor fiber). Droppings. Beavers are 'coprophagous'; first droppings/faeces coloured depending on what they have eaten within last 60 hours. These are 're-eaten'/re-ingested and pass through gut a second time, thus body making better use of food constituents. Second round faeces usually excreted in water.
