It is the same size throughfrom top to bottom as the RockyfordCantaloupe. It is slightly flattened fromstem to blossom end. The netting is welldeveloped and covers the ribs space between the ribs is not nettedbut is quite narrow. The rind is salmon colored and grained the sameas the Rockyford Cantaloupe. The flavoris pleasant. BANANA.—This variety gets its name onaccount of the long fruits having a banana-like aroma. The fruits are from fifteen totwenty inches in length, and from four tosix inches in diameter. The salmon fleshis thick and of a delicious flavor. FINE AFF^E.—A medium sized earlyvariety, oval in shape, and of fine flavor. NETTED CITBON.—This variety is cul-tivated to a greater extent for market thanany other sort, and for this purpose it hasno superior.
