The large Festival hall is used for functions at the Hofbräuhaus beer hall at Am Platzl in the old quarter of Munich in Germany. The hall was used by Adolf Hitler and the National Socialists for their first meeting in 1920. It is the original brewery and today it is an internationally acclaimed 'beer hall'. Locals can be seen dressed in traditional costume, drinking Munich beer from the famous Mass, a one-litre tankard, and enjoying traditional Bavarian dishes and live music . The beer hall serves approx 30,000 guests every day.
