He married in Fryeburg, Me., in 1819, Tabitha Frye, whowas bom in Fryeburg in 1794, daughter of Samuel Frye. Mr. Jewett settled in the Plummer District of Waterford, where hewas a farmer and where he died in 1861. His widow died there in 1871.
