Actor Jason Durr and his wife Kate Charman became pregnant after receiving donor eggs from a woman in the USA. Jasons sperm count fell after he'd had mumps that can cause damage to sperm production. Kate then discovered she had began premature menopause. Their only hope of having more children was via egg donation. The donor eggs were fertilised with Jasons sperm and implanted into Kate's womb. Kate gave birth to twins Felix and Velvet August 2009.
