The Mekong River is one the world's storied rivers. It is the world's 12th longest river land and a major trade route in Southeast Asia, running though China, Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam. The Mekong basin is one of the richest areas of biodiversity in the world. This young boy was playing in the mud at the water's edge, being very careful not to get his clothes muddy.
