service members assigned to Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa receive their French Desert Commando Course (FDCC) pin at Centre Dentrainment Au Combat (CECAD), Djibouti, Sept. 22, 2022, during the conclusion of the FDCC. The FDCC is a multi-day course held by the French at CECAD that challenges both and French service members by challenging the participants physically and mentally through land and water obstacles and endurance exercises while surviving in austere field conditions.
