Ocean Springs, MS, Aril 3, 2015 - Boardwalk and covered pavilion at the Jackson County Small Craft Harbor in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. Located on the Gulf of Mexico north of Deeper Island inside the waters of the Mississippi Sound near the Ocean Springs Bayou, the Jackson County Small Craft Harbor was damaged in 2005 by Hurricane Katrina. The new harbor includes 165 boat slips and an 800 foot boardwalk and piper to the mouth of the harbor. Portions of the Small Craft Harbor were rebuilt and restored with Public Assistance (PA) from FEMA.
