The Nawbahar District Chief of Police helps a villager with bags of beans in Pinzo village, Nawbahar district, Zabul province, Afghanistan, Feb. 5. The beans and other food supplies were distributed by members of the Afghan National Police. During the harsh winter months, the assistance helps supplement food rations villagers live on from their fall crop harvests.
