George Lytle was a co-discoverer of the Caribou Lode (silver) near Nederland, Colorado, in 1869. Built in 1873, the home was originally located on Pearl St. the house was moved to Walnut St. in 19911, according to the Carnegie Library for Local History in Boulder. It received Landmark designation in 1991.
